Thank you for sharing these. You are right when you say that “a decision can always wait”. It’s nice to be able to remove a sense of urgency from some things in life.🤍

Have a system to deal with life issues and obstacles. Like pausing, a decision can always wait, run a list of people that could help you solve it and never underestimate the power of a sleep...

Try to never be alone and bereft in life. It’s dismal.

This really resonates with me: “You are rich if you have money. You are wealthy if you have time.” Lately I’ve been engineering my life in favor of time over money, so thank you for validating that decision! ☺️

I’m glad it resonated. I remember having this conversation with my mentor 2 years ago and his words have stuck with me since.

Here’s to being ‘wealthier’✨💛

Love this! I want the same for me.

My absolute favourite quote that I live by is, "Life is beautiful and I do have the time."

This is want I want to proudly say as I grow older

Some key habits I have been following so far:

1. Treat people well: People forget many things, but they always remember how you made them feel. Be respectful and caring.

2. Practice Empathy: Understand people’s feelings, especially pain, anxiety, grief and fear. Empathy is a superpower that can help bring out the best in people.

3. Promote Quality: There’s a bigger reward for doing one thing right than doing many things alright. Promote the significance of quality.

4. Listen: If you don’t listen, eventually you will be surrounded by people who have nothing to say. Those who listen intently will eventually have more interesting things to say.

5. Help others: Open the doors that are within your power. Nothing more gratifying than increasing access to opportunities.

6. Be simple: Simplicity leads to authenticity and impact. Simplicity also paves the way for happiness and fulfillment. It is simple to be happy, but it is difficult to be simple (-Rabindranath Tagore).

7. Appreciate: Be grateful to people around you who support you. A simple ‘thank you’ goes a long way.

8. Encourage: Your success depends on the success of those around you. Work towards the success of people around you.

9. Be available: It’s not just about the amount of time. Five minutes of genuine attention can be more impactful than an hour of distracted presence.

10. Celebrate: Take time to celebrate small and large accomplishments, yours and of those around you. Career is a journey not a goal.
