"This wisdom, a.k.a. the life experience that you have collected on this journey is far more valuable than any amount of bank balance will ever be." This has really made me more grateful for the experiences I've had thank you for sharing this piece

I think that in my 20s, I thought I’d have life figured out by my 30s. I didn’t. By my 30s, I thought I’d have it all figured out by the time I turned 40. I didn’t. Enjoy the ride, and embrace spontaneity; I’m still learning.

Thank you for these beautiful reminders! Indeed, we can’t control the outcomes of our actions. If only life was that simple! But what you said about recognizing that in each moment we’re doing the best we can, appreciating ourselves for that, and trusting that things always work out the way they’re meant to was so powerful. Thanks for this beautiful piece and sharing so authentically! ♥️

Thank you for your time Suzanne!💛

Life is in many ways more complicated than it seems sometimes and less complicated other times. But 1 thing is for sure- things don’t go our way every time. It’s all about finding the right balance between playing by the rules and embracing the flexibility

I’ve been thinking a lot about striving, focusing on the next thing. It’s what we’ve been taught to do.

I’ve been reading “The Power of Now” and finally Eckhart is teaching me about the importance of enjoying and savouring the now.

I’ve realised I spend a lot of time noticing my shortcomings in order to see where I need to improve. I’m letting that go now and feel the weight being lifted off me. It’s pretty life changing. 💕

You always have amazing book recommendations Mika!✨

I am definitely adding “The Power of Now” to my reading list.

I love the idea of not focusing on our shortcomings all the time, I think I always tend to focus on them too. Here’s to letting go of trying to be better every single second of the day and focus on just BEing✨💕

This is sooo true! "Your growth will not be visible at all times. But it doesn’t mean that it isn’t present."

Sometimes you just need to plant the seed, nurture it, and trust the process.

As Thich Nhat Hanh would say, you need to learn to see the forest in the seed. The seed contains in itself everything. One just needs to learn to see it :')

I feel seen by this writing. Thank you for sharing, Mansi :)

Thanks for this timely reminder Mansi! I was feeling a bit disheartened this afternoon at the the speed of my progress lately, but you’re right, when I look back a year I’m in a totally different place from where I started! Thanks also for the beautiful picture of the sky 😁

Indeed, we always forget how far we came in those learning it's important to slow down and remember what we learned and those learnings and experiences to be a better person.

Beautifully expressed 🌸🤍

It's so easy to criticize ourselves and not notice all the things we do well. It takes a deliberate mindset shift to consciously notice these things. xx

Absolutely true Wendy!💕

We have moments where things are good and moment where things are bad, but somehow we let those bad moments overpower the good ones ALWAYS. Why not slow down and appreciate all the good things in life here?✨

I am fully aware of the fact that Substack has been a positive influence in my life, so much so that I look forward to opening the app each day. But sometimes it’s so important to separate myself from the platform in order to make sense of the real world.

I hope you had a great time off the app💕

Also, so happy and grateful that you chose to read my newsletter out of all the amazing content you must’ve missed reading out on in the last three days✨

I think we often forget to appreciate what we have right now in an effort to chase what we don't. It's so important to slow down and appreciate the beauty around us from time to time

Thank you for reading this week’s newsletter Holly!

I truly appreciate your presence here.

I can relate to what you’re saying, I have questioned my progress far too many times in my life. But I am learning to trust that things will work out for me in the end, even if the outcome is different from what I had originally thought it would be.

Sending love and positivity your way✨
