Thank you, Mansi. Love the end here: "Do something that makes you smile.

Do something that allows you to appreciate what you have now instead of wanting to be where someone else is.

Do something you loved doing, but unintentionally left behind in the chaos of life.

Do something that allows your eyes to see beyond a laptop screen because that is where life truly unfolds."

Saving this!

Thanks for your kindness Harneek💕

I came across your poem and deeply resonated with it. It's difficult to expose our vulnerabilities in front of the world, but it does lead to a lot of personal growth. As writers, sometimes we end up creating a bigger impact in this world than what we think. Keep doing what you're doing✨

A breath of fresh air… and reminder that I am not alone in wanting to slow down in this 24/7 hustle culture. I’ve been reading books lately instead of binging on Netflix. I forgot how splendid reading is for me.

Oh Michelle, you certainly are not alone. There is, in fact, no problem with wanting to slow down. I often meet people who judge my ambition by the number of hours I spend working each day. For them, slowing down even for a moment is a sin. But considering how rushed this world can be sometimes, it's only more crucial for us to slow down now more than ever.

Sending so much love and positivity to you. You are making some right choices in life♥️

I love this post so much. I’ve been taking a break from substack, and when I popped on earlier I read your post which was perfectly timed. ❤️

Thanks for being here Hayley!

I do encourage taking social media breaks (including Substack). It's important to slow down and look around, something that most of us can do only when we put our phones aside. I hope you had a lovely break and welcome back💕
