Another wonder post Mansi, thank you so much for the mention. I think at the moment I am re thinking a lot of my self care acts, I am trying to be more present and romanticise more - and I am really taking the time to notice the little free self care acts ! Thank you for the inspiration.
Realising this is all that matters Emily. I see that most people in this world never stop and think about what their body needs. What their mind needs. It is crazy to me that we forget how to nurture the one thing that will help us achieve all those (sometimes unrealistic) goals that we dream of achieving or the world makes us believe matter the most.
One that I read recently that resonates with me is that an under-recognized form of self-care is leaving 10 or 15 minutes before you need to be somewhere to reduce the stress of hurrying and worrying you'll be late. A mostly in our control way to build some calm into our days.
That's such a genius idea! Thank you for planting this seed in my head. I think I need to start doing it as well. It's going to help so much in reducing all the unwanted stress of rushing in life.

I take nature walks by the beach and journal early in the morning while birds chirp in the background. These 02 self-care practices have become my lifeline the past few months and kept me going.

I’m go glad you have made these a part of your routine. Starting the day on a positive note helps so much in tackling the challenges that lie ahead.
To my self-case list I would add a 16th bullet: Give a Hug, Get a Hug - each day

I make sure my bed is made before I get in it at night, because naps are taken around here during the day.
I am trying to exercise more than my hours per week.
I brush & floss asap I can after a meal.
I stay busy trying to get things done all through the day- especially when I have no place to go.
