I enjoyed the read; keeping our creative juices flowing is hard task, balancing between our busy schedule and finding time to think is really tough. Worthy read 📚
Absolutely love that bit about giving importance to the non-monetary aspects of life. I remember sacrificing the things I loved and enjoyed doing simply because I felt I was "busy." But part of living an intentional life is being clear about what I want to be doing, and being deliberate about that choice. These days, I find myself sparking my creativity when I allow my body to move, like when I walk and observe my surroundings. It also helps to take care of my body because it influences the state of my mind. That's why lately I've been particular about sleep and sunlught exposure lately.
I love that. I am in a season where circumstances make it so difficult to slow down and rest. But the fact that I put my writing out in the world also means that I can revisit them whenever I need advice from myself. Kind of a journal.
Thank you for being here. I find comfort in observing little things about my surroundings too✨
This is great and it's really inspiring, Mansi. :')
When it's difficult to slow down, what do you usually do? What usually helps you get the rest that you need when in your mind, you feel like there are a dozen things you still need to get done?
I have always valued having time to think and being in solitude. I believe most people don't spend enough thinking and sleepwalk through life which can lead to unhappiness in the long-term. Great read, really enjoying the newsletter Mansi!
And I agree, I used to be one of those people too, but constantly running in an unknown direction and the burnout that followed was quick to make me realise that it is not at all a sustainable way of living.
Love that you value solitude in your life as well!✨
We really enjoyed reading this and the advice you gave was really useful! It can be difficult to keep the creative spark alive but it is so important so thanks for sharing your experiences❤️
You leaving a comment here means so much to me! I absolutely LOVE reading (I am building my personal library as we speak🥹) and I have been so inclined towards reading here on Substack lately. Thank you for putting out some lovely content for the world to read.
