We are so hard on ourselves aren’t we? Time is a tricky one because there are so many options and if we have been raised where productivity trumps rest, it can be really hard to prioritise it or not feel guilty when we slow down.

I realise how we don't need to so hard on ourselves always. There is a time and a place for everything, which goes for productivity as well as rest. This season of life is about slowing down and I am loving it so far✨

While I was recovering from surgery a few weeks ago, all of a sudden, I had plenty of time. It felt strange to be able to nap whenever I wanted, sleep 9+ hours, read and sit in the sun without having to rush anywhere. When your system slows down, you really realise how much you were running beforehand.
Keeping the awareness now that things move faster again, is a beautiful challenge
We often forget the little things. Life has been really busy for me as well after writing my exams but I make sure to pause and appreciate the present moment more now. It truly is a beautiful challenge as you said💕
I feel like I spend a lot of my time thinking about the word 'intentionality' and how I can centre my life around it. I am grateful that I am recognising this now and also happy for you that you did as well, regardless of the timeline. Most people spend their lives chasing the unknown and forget to embrace the little things.
