I adore the honoring excerpts of people in your life. I know there is the narrative of building character in hardships, but it is the warmth of strangers and loved ones that I hope makes up my larger pieces our being. ❤️

I absolutely agree! I think being humble is one of the virtues. That's why I try to write about the people in my journal who play a role (no matter how big or small) in shaping me into the person I am today. Thank you for being here, your presence is much appreciated here💕

Yes, this would make for a wonderful journal prompt. I did the same and it felt so good writing everything down on a piece of paper. I revisit this list every time I feel lost and alone.

This is a lovely practice, one that I should heed and express gratitude for more often. Being kind and carrying out acts of kindness doesn't require acknowledgment or affirmation — we do these things because they improve our communities and other people's lives — but by honoring these humble efforts, we can elevate them amid a slew of competing incentives and priorities in our everyday routines.

Absolutely. I think showing kindness (even receiving it) grounds us. Community is more important than we know, but it is often neglected as we focus on running in the rat race.

In choas of our daily stress and anxiety, We forget to be grateful for the people who have shown us kindness or empathy irrespective of any expectations in return. So much greatness to be appreciated about.

Expressing gratitude for the good things in life is so important, something that most of us forget to do as life gets chaotic. I have always thought that kindness is an underrated quality. It does not take much effort to be kind on our end, but a little act of kindness from loved ones or even strangers can be the highlight of someone else's day.

Thank you Antony. I think what really works for me is just being intentional about it. Once you are intentional about something, it stays in your subconscious and you act on it. A few months ago, I held the door open for the person who was leaving the store behind me and he had such a big smile on his face that I will never forget. It's not something I planned to do, but it just happened because it was in my subconscious to practice more kindness.

I am glad that you are developing more kindness, we need more people like you in this world✨

Indeed. I think love and kindness have the power to defeat the chaos that surrounds us. All of us are dealing with enough problems in our lives, sometimes all we really need is a small act of kindness by a stranger or a few encouraging words from a loved one to brighten our day. These things matter more than we think✨
