Choosing peace over pressure and presence over performance takes courage. It’s inspiring to see how simple moments, like a quiet walk, can bring us back to ourselves. Beautifully written, Mansi.
Ah, Mansi. I saw myself in the drawer, in restless scrolling, in longing for stillness. Your words remind me that missing out is sometimes the most beautiful way back to what matters :)
I had been in the same cycle and now I have decided to say no to this urgency of picking up my phone every second. I have been away from Substack as well for the last few days and I am really enjoying my time in the real world. Sometimes it’s important to just BE. Maybe that is the point of life and we are forgetting it.
Magic, reflection Mansi. I especially like your point about: saying no to things that you sense will cause ‘urgency’. It’s hard! Especially in work and family matters. This follows well from your considerations about: digital detox. Blessings 🌶️
Thank you for your kind words Cecil. I appreciate you taking the time to read my newsletters every week and you are right - it is so hard to say no to urgency. But it’s absolutely necessary to slow down and make sense of life sometimes ✨
