Last week, I spent the most healing day of 2025 so far after experiencing burnout in January. Laying under a tree and watching the birds fly for hours. Closing my eyes and feeling the wind on my face. It felt as if all my worries bid me goodbye briefly.
The world was still, and I was present.
Oftentimes, we look at someone else's life online and wonder how they have everything figured out when we are struggling to cope up. “Are they constantly making an effort to reach their goals without pausing?”, I ask myself. The truth is, no matter how transparent someone’s life is online, some aspects of their life will never end up reaching you.
No matter how much we crave fancy vacations, expensive cars or the latest technology, deep down, it is the little things that never fail to give us joy.
Little things like walking in nature with no timeline of returning to work.
Little things like waking up to the sound of birds, not an alarm.
Little things like the first sip of morning coffee.
There is joy in living slow, something that no thrill or rush can ever overpower. If you are struggling to slow down, take a moment to breathe right now. Everything else can wait.
Make sure to always remember the following...
Things fall into place when the time is right. And the right time is unique to each individual, even the ones on the path of achieving the same goals as you.

We are learning each day, and even if our progress is slow, it’s still something.
A couple hundred days ago, things looked different in your life. Even if we believe that nothing has changed since, I know for sure is that we definitely knew less then. How we choose to use the information and growth we have acquired in that time is up to us. With each choice, there comes an opportunity to slowly but steadily turn things around.
Keep breathing. Keep moving. You are not falling behind.

I love your photos and reminders to stay present (much needed in a week where personal admin just feels overwhelmingly urgent). Thank you for including my recent words, such an honour to be listed amongst the other amazing people! 💛
Your essay beautifully reminds us to slow down and appreciate the little things. Being more intentional with our actions makes life more meaningful. Thanks for this, Mansi! 😊.
