I am sitting in front of my laptop to write after so long. In the last two weeks, work consumed me. Whatever energy I had left after logging off was spent absorbing my surroundings. Sometimes Most times, I love making no plans and simply being by myself. It creates little cracks for creativity to flow into my otherwise rigid schedule.
Every month, I pen down a list of lessons I learned in the previous month. I see this as an opportunity to pause and reflect on the little things in life. This month, I am taking inspiration from one of my older posts to build something more meaningful. I made my observation heart for October 2024. An observation heart represents your heart for any season or time of the year, divided into sections which depict how you felt during that season. For me, October was the beginning of a new season: one where my health took priority over every other thing in life. I also decided it was time to find the right balance between catching up with friends I wanted to get back in touch with while also embracing some alone time. If you find yourself in a season of life which is worth looking back on, I highly recommend drawing your own observation heart for it.
Always remember, life is all about balance. The goods are accompanied by the bads, but the opposite also holds true. Sweeping the challenges under the rug is the recipe for unhappiness. So, take a deep breath and embrace whatever comes your way with a brave heart, for you know you are strong enough to face the unknown.
What a season of life in October felt like..
No other season of life throughout the year compares to how fall feels like. It smells of love. And home.
When stepping outside your comfort zone, remind yourself that it is not permanent.
Seek adventure. But also seek peace. It grounds you like no other feeling in the world can.
Always remember to give meaningful gifts to your loved ones. They will never forget the extra mile you went for them.
BIGGEST lesson of life: No amount of money can guarantee you good health. Always remember to prioritise what is important in the long run.
You don’t forget the little details about your friends, even if you haven’t met them for years. That is the beauty of old friendships.
I hope you had a cozy October as well. Wishing you a warm holiday season ahead. See you next week! ✨

Gorgeous as always ... I really love the idea of writing down lessons learnt from the month just experienced ... What a wonderful way to do some reflection and soul searching. Love that at the end of the year you'd be able to read through all your lessons and learnings too. Thank you Mansi 🙏
Beautiful read, Some lessons resonate well with me ❤️
