February Recap
Lessons on feeling stuck, seeking growth, gratitude and finding joy in one's own company.
I still can’t believe I am writing this week’s letter, and it’s March of 2026. Where did the first 2 and a half months of this year go? It is astonishing to think how quickly time flies. One day, I was 21, fresh out of college and trying to make sense of the world. I blinked, and now I will be 26 in 3 months. The swiftness of time is one of the biggest reasons why it shouldn’t be taken for granted.
I have been writing my monthly reflections for over a year on Substack, hoping that it strikes a chord with someone who values personal growth and chooses to build a life of meaning.
I hope you know that wherever you are, there is always scope for learning. I hope you know that you deserve to bloom into the best version of yourself, which happens only when you embrace change, seek new experiences, and continue to learn from the world around you.

Lessons from February
When you live in similar surroundings for a long time, your understanding of the wider world begins to shrink. It leads to stagnation, and you are more prone to losing your motivation. Step out from your defined spaces from time to time to see how the world is and how small some of your troubles are in this giant ocean.
We humans often crave company. However, it is also important to recognise that we are capable of doing things alone. Of travelling solo. Pursuing our hobbies. Enjoying a good meal at a restaurant. The notion that one always needs someone else to be happy is flawed. The only person you need to be happy on most days is yourself. Nurture the bond you have with yourself because this investment pays sufficient dividends over time.
Life is a roller-coaster, full of ups and downs. You will look back at something that is gone and miss it like you never had it. The truth is, we never appreciate moments for how precious they are because we delay expressing gratitude. I hope we remember to be grateful for what we have today because seasons change, and what we have today may never come back tomorrow.
Growth is never linear, and it will never be. No one in life has reached where they wanted to be without any hardships. Treat your falls as lessons on what is truly demanded of you from the universe in this season. When you honour the universe, you are granted acceptance of the situation unfolding right in front of you, which ultimately leads to less self-doubt and more peace. Life feels much easier to live that way.
