There will be bumps
The days may be good or bad, but choosing peace is a practice.
They say life's journey is not linear, and it is true.
You will fall. But you will have to learn to stand up and walk again.
Sometimes there will be support.
Sometimes, you will have to do it on your own.
Most people will be left behind. The ones who stay will sometimes be taken for granted.
In the midst of it all, you will find yourself catching your breath for a moment one day. With a realisation that life was never meant to be linear. There will always be bumps.
When you experience these bumps, remind yourself that there is room to embrace simple joys, even when you are surrounded by the unexpected. Things do not have to necessarily go your way for you to welcome joy. Most times, they don’t, and that is absolutely okay.
The day you stop complaining about not achieving desired goals despite giving it your all is the day your life will change forever. The complexities of life and why things happen the way they do are sometimes impossible to explain.
This week, I am here to remind you that you do not have to figure everything out right this second. You do not have to postpone peace. It can be found right here, even in the middle of chaos. Welcome it with open arms. Make it a practice. Once you live in its presence, there is no going back.
“What if practicing peace is slowing down and realizing there’s more to see?”
A question I am leaving you with today
I love figuring out how to invite peace into my life, and letting it stay. It helps, especially on days when life gets a little too much. Think about what really makes you feel at peace on ordinary days. Does it help you on days when chaos takes over?
I am still figuring out my answers. Join me if you wish to!

Thank you so much for the mention, dear! 🥰🙏🏻
One of my favourite mantras (I have a few!) is that there is good learning in everything. You may have to wait to see it but it is there!
